Oh, I hope some of you still remember me! I know that I haven't been super...active (read: practically dead), but now that summer is here and I'm taking a break from school for at least the next year, I have more time to be working on my art. (Most of my new stuff is actually on this account: sugarberrybite.deviantart.com/)
However, I also need to start making some extra money, as I need to pay for transportation and hopefully some acting classes.
Anyway, I was just wondering if anyone would be interested in commissions? I can do chibi, sketch, head, full body, pairings, etc.
The pricing wouldn't be much, maybe $25 for a full body with some soft shading? I hope that's not too pricey.
In any case, I'd just like to know your opinions.

Wow, it's been nearly a year since I've written one of these things....but, well, I have a few things I think I should say, so here goes....
First of all, 2009 was....different. My best friend went through some serious shit at the beginning of the year, and while it was a very hard time, it also opened up a lot of new things as well. I met my other best friend, and we all began hanging out together, which I feel was destined to happen. Seriously, I found another sister and I adore her.
I made a lot of other friends as well WHO ROCK, BY THE WAY. They know who they are.
I LOVE YOU GUYS!!!!
Also, as I'm sure many of you noticed, I haven't posted any new Zutara art for- what, a year? After the Avatar finale, I was just so hurt, I couldn't bare to draw it anymore. I had put so much of my emotions and feelings into that pairing that I couldn't take it. Seriously, what used to be 5 Zutara doodles a day turned into nothing at all in the span of a day. I don't think I've drawn any Zuatara art since the day of the finale, and I don't know when I'll be able to do it again. It's not like I don't care about it anymore- hell, I still browse the Zutara pics whenever I'm on this site- but....I don't know, I just don't think I can put as much feeling into the pairing as before. I think I might have cried some of my passion for it out after the finale. I was sobbing almost the entire night...I know it's just a couple in a cartoon, but to me it was so much more than that. Some of you understand that and some of don't. It's cool, just...don't mock me for it, please.
Really, I still haven't forgiven Mike and Bryan. In fact I'm still pissed as FUCK at them- not for making Kataang canon, but for building up so much hope for the Zutaraians ON PURPOSE and then crudely dissing the fandom again and again. So yeah, I'm still pretty fucking mad at them, but thankfully not to to the point where I would pull a Chris Crocker like I wanted to. :sweat: But I'm sorry to my fans and watchers, because I know many of you began watching me mainly because I pumped out Zutara art like a crazy bitch on crack.
My art is taking a bit of a new turn. I'm developing it more and more, and I'm focusing more on my original series, and getting better at manga making. Everyday Im constantly churning out new ideas for these stories, and am very hopeful about getting them publish someday. I'm sorry if I don't do much posting these days- my laptop is very good at distracting me from getting on the mac and actually working on my art. BUT in my...recent defense, the scanner hasn't been working for the past few months, so I haven't been able to can any of the work I've been doing. Luckily, we got it fixed today, so you'll be seeing actual art instead of just the pictures I've been taking of myself when I'm bored. XD I WILL however be posting actual pictures from photoshoots, so watch for those.
Also, I'm sorry if I haven't replied to your comments. This has always been a problem with me, but I'm trying to get into the habit of actually TALKING to people. XD So yeah....moo.
And jeebus, the fanfic I wrote a few years ago...you know, "Stars"? I still get very kind souls pleading for me to finish it, but...I'm sorry, that story has been dead for a while now. I reread it a few months ago, and hated it. The characters are all OOC, the story gets off pace far too often, it does fit in with the rest of the series, and, frankly, I just don't have much time to write it anymore. But thank you for all the nice reviews, they mean a lot to me.
Well, that's my ramble for now.

Also, I feel I should say that I'm sorry for making so many people wait for requests. It's just that school has been a bit busy lately, and there's been a grounding of sorts (only supposed to get 6 hours of computer hours a week, which is like, less than I usually spend in a DAY) so by the time I've caught up with everyone online, read new chapters on onemanga (Code: Breaker FTW!!!!! Pick it up NOW), ignored creepy friend requests on facebook, laughed at licd and explosm strips, and just BARELY start opening up photoshop, my parents bump me off the comp. REALLY sucks, but I'm working to pull my grades up so I can get my privileges back. So yeah, it's been pretty tough to get much art done. So thanks for being patient!
Speaking of art, I'm finally getting the hang of manga studio (this is something that I'll read back over in about 7 months and go, "pshh, yeah, and Gackt never got plastic surgery") but it's so TIME CONSUMING! I mean...whoa....
Oh, and let me help any of you who think its a good idea to buy anime studio. DON'T. Dear LORD, that program sucks. The tutorial is about as helpful as a donkey with a screwdriver. Not only is it overly complicated, but put into overly-simplified terms, it DOESN'T WORK. The regular anime studio 5 is about 30 bucks, right? Here's how the deal for it goes:
Hopeful and oblivious customer: "30 bucks? Well awesome, that's a great deal for an animating program! Now I can stop saving up that $700 for flash and spend it on something equally as useful and rewarding!"
